Why Study at University of Bradford

The University of Bradford is a public research university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. This plate glass university received its royal charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but can trace its origins back to the establishment of the industrial West Yorkshire town's Mechanics Institute in 1832.

Study at the University of Bradford to benefit from - and be part of - teaching and research that harnesses technology for the good of society.

You’ll learn from academic and industry experts who are shaping the future of their sectors, and you'll learn in world-class facilities – they’ve invested millions of pounds in high-tech learning environments, such as our motion capture studio and Bloomberg Trading Room.

Their curriculum is designed with input from these industry experts and partners, which means you’ll develop skills that are highly valued by employers and gain plenty of hands-on practical experience along the way. Many of our courses have professional, statutory or regulatory body accreditation or approval too, giving you the best possible start to your career.

With 15% of our students joining us from more than 130 different countries, we are used to giving newcomers to Bradford a very warm welcome.

You will find a diverse mix of people from different backgrounds, faiths, nationalities and ages all sharing the City Campus. This mixture of people creates a vibrant community atmosphere where lifelong friendships are made between students from all over the world.

Their expert staff are on-hand from your first contact with the University, right the way through your studies, and beyond. Choosing to study outside your home country is an exciting prospect, and a big decision. We want to help you make the right choice.
